Cynthia Hardy is internationally recognized for building and shaping companies and leaders.  Her career has included founding and leading an innovation and change management firm, managing profit and loss of multi billion dollar divisions in domestic and international publicly-traded companies, and practicing as an attorney in law firm and corporate settings. Cynthia is Founder & CEO of Pivot Global Partners, a global professional services firm that guides clients through people and process driven pivots—innovation pivots, leadership pivots, and equity, inclusion, and diversity pivots—to innovate, scale, and grow. Previously, Cynthia was Global Head of Agency for AIG, President of Encompass Insurance, and President of Hanover Insurance’s Personal Lines Division. She also held various P&L management roles at The Hartford and Progressive Insurance and was a litigation associate at Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue.

 

Cynthia is an advisor to early and growth stage technology companies. She also is an independent board director at Clearcover, a technology forward insurance company.

In the community, Cynthia is passionate about mentoring young professionals. She is Director Emerita of the National Womens’ History Museum in Washington, D.C. where she was Governance Chair and Co-chair of the Advisory Council of the Womens Business Collaborative. Cynthia also has served on boards of education focused organizations in New York, Chicago, and Atlanta.

 

Cynthia holds a B.S., summa cum laude, in Economics from Xavier University of Louisiana.  She earned her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame School of Law where she studied in the Notre Dame Mathias Concannon International Law Program in London, England.
